At confiscation proceedings at Wood Green Crown Court on 2nd December 2005 a man appeared before Her Honour Judge Faber.
The man had previously pleaded guilty at the Magistrates Court to trafficking 5 kilos of cocaine and was subsequently sentenced at the crown court to 6 years imprisonment.
Her Honour Judge Faber determined that the man had a criminal lifestyle and that his benefit from criminal conduct was in the sum of £135,000. HHJ Faber ordered that he pay a confiscation order in the sum of £6,366.83, to be paid by 3rd March 2006 with a sentence in default of 4 months imprisonment. The confiscation order was paid in full and the default sentence was not served.
