At confiscation proceedings at Wood Green Crown Court on 2nd December 2005 Michael Atkins appeared before Her Honour Judge Faber. 

Michael Atkins had previously pleaded guilty at the Magistrates Court to trafficking 5 kilos of cocaine and was subsequently sentenced at the crown court to 6 years imprisonment.

Her Honour Judge Faber determined that Atkins had a criminal lifestyle and that his benefit from criminal conduct was in the sum of £135,000.  HHJ Faber ordered that Atkins pay a confiscation order in the sum of £6,366.83, to be paid by 3rd March 2006 with a sentence in default of 4 months imprisonment.
