Main Story
Former football club director must pay back £126,000 to the community for his crimes.
Sheffield Crown Court ruled that David Costin had benefitted to the tune of £980,859.31 from the proceeds of the frauds and a confiscation order was made for £126,206.65 which represents the total value of Costin’s assets available to be confiscated. If he fails to pay up within two years, Costin will have to serve a further three years in prison. This does not wipe out the debt and he will still be faced with paying the money.
