Coverage Areas 

The North East RART provides a service primarily to the inhabitants of Yorkshire, Humberside, Cleveland, Durham and Northumberland. In addition the North East RART in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, both here and abroad continue to target criminals who use Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield and the other major cities in the region to launder the proceeds of their crime, irrespective of where they reside or operate from.

The North East RART currently provides a dedicated Confiscation, Cash Seizure and Money Laundering investigation service to:

  • Various HM Revenue and Customs units
  • All West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Humberside, Cleveland, Northumberland and Durham Police units
  • Various other agencies within the North East Region
