Operation West Marsh is the name given to an investigation undertaken by Humberside Police into cross border supply of drugs. The investigation identified that the drugs had moved from Derbyshire, through Humberside and Lincolnshire into Wiltshire.
The NE RART commenced a confiscation investigation following a referral to from Humberside Police which concluded in two substantial confiscation orders being made. The first was made on 27 September 2007 against Kevin Brough who is a resident of Derbyshire in the sum of £447,124 and the most recent was made on 26 June 2008 against Kevin O’Loughlin of Hull who was ordered to pay back £64,170.
Operation Harpoon
As a result of a referral from North Yorkshire Police a confiscation investigation was launched by the NE RART. This concluded in January 2008 when confiscation orders totalling £526,438 were made at Bradford Crown Court against the four defendants who had previously been convicted of drug trafficking offences and money laundering.
Our new partners, the confiscation unit of HM Court Services who are co-located with us at the NE RART have enforced payment of £245,402.66 to date.

In April 2008, three confiscation orders were made to a total value of £374,303 following convictions for conspiracy to supply controlled drugs as a result of a referral from West Yorkshire Police to the NE RART.
