Your Regional Asset Recovery Team (RART) is seeking dynamic professionals in the rank of Sergeant and Inspector to join the regional multi agency collaboration to tackle serious and organised crime at NIM levels 2 and 3.

Currently based in South East Birmingham (Junction 4, M42) the team comprises police officers and staff from West Mercia, Warwickshire, Staffordshire and West Midlands, CPS, HMCS and Inland Revenue.

Exploiting opportunities under the Proceeds Of Crime Act 2002 and similar legislation you can expect to lead and manage investigations where asset recovery is expected to be a significant outcome priority.

This opportunity is unique and challenging in every sense. Evidenced ability in the investigation of serious crime and developing and managing teams is just one aspect of the role. You will be expected to ethically test the bounds of new legislation working with our partners and represent the region as an ambassador, influencing the national police view on further legislative change. 

A previous history of involvement with POCA is not essential. A thirst for success is.

The team currently has funding expectations to 2011. Thereafter the future might quite literally be a matter of how well you perform.
